Manitoba Education has announced that all grade 12 provincial exams for January and June have been cancelled for this year. GVS students can still expect to have other forms of assessment and evaluation done in their courses. Subject teachers have already informed semester one students of what their assessment and evaluation practices will be to conclude the first semester. If parents have any questions or concerns, they are invited to contact their student’s subject teacher.
Hanover School Division has developed a great resource for career development and life exploration (CDLE). It is designed to help students and parents explore the opportunities for post high school. The site has lot of relevant information on jobs in various industries – demands, education, requirements, and pay. Check it out!
