| March is Numeracy Month 2026-03-09 | Make sure you have signed up with Mrs. Maria Friesen if you want to take part in the reciting digits of Pi competition on Thursday. You must sign up by Tuesday, March 10th. Everyone can get involved by wearing their GVS Pi-rate wear on March 12th. Or if you don't have GVS Pi-rate gear, you can wear something with circles on it. | High School Sports 2026-03-09 | High School Practice High School Badminton practices will run this week, Tues and Thurs from 4-5:30 @ South Oaks. High School Games Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Basketball team as they defeated Frontier School this past weekend to advance to Provincials! Provincials will run March 19-21 in Gimli. Intramurals The gym will be open at 12:30 for volleyball and basketball. |
| Bingo Night! 2026-03-09 | GVS student council is bringing Bingo night to GVS! On March 12th from 6:30-8:30 in the gym we will be playing bingo! Doors open at 6:15 and bingo starts at 6:30. We will be playing 10 games of bingo. Snacks will be available for purchase. There are prizes for winning! Available for all players ages 10 and up! (Bingo cards must be purchased. For $12 you get 3 cards per game and a Bingo dabber. Additional cards can be purchased in increments of 3 for $10.) |
