GVS Food Drive! October 13-18th, 2020 Green Valley School and the Grunthal Caring Hands food bank would like to ask you to participate in this year’s food drive. Due to the unusual circumstances of this year, many more families are in need of the local food bank. Bins will be stationed at all the entrances of Green Valley School next week Tuesday to Friday. Hey GVS! We won’t be doing the Tery Fox Run like usual this year. BUT, did you know that there is a website that students and families could go to terryfox.org to donate towards a certain person or school? The Terry Fox site has our school listed and does keep a running total for our school! Visit terryfox.org to donate towards GVS between September 28 – October 9!

2019-2020 Yearbooks are here! If you ordered one last year, pick up has changed a little. Middle Years students will have theirs delivered to their homerooms as usual. High school students will have them delivered to their classes in the next week, and Grads who still have siblings in the building will have theirs sent home with siblings. Hi GVS Pirates! Thank you for participating in the curbside library program. It was a huge success with over 500 books being taken out. The program has now ended and sadly, there will not be a summer reading program this year. It is time to bring back all the library books, textbooks, grade 5-8 Chromebooks and chargers that you have borrowed. All items are now overdue and can be dropped off in the containers by the front foyer. Thanks again.… Read More

Band students: If you are renting instruments from the school (Euphonium, French Horn, Tuba, Percussion) please return the instruments to the school on June 9th.

Sign-ups for the 2020-2021 High School Fall sports have been sent to your child’s email. If your child is interested in participating in cross country running, soccer, or volleyball, please have them sign-up using the google doc in their email. There is also a link to that doc here . It is very important they sign up, as it determines if we will have teams for the upcoming seasons. Thank-you all!
