June 12th: Grade 5 Orientation

6:30pm, Green Valley School Gymnasium: This is your time to get acquainted with GVS. We will have an informational meeting with a time for questions, a school tour, an introduction to the homeroom teachers and principals. We would also like to give each student some GVS gear to welcome them to our school. GVS is excited to welcome and meet our newest students and their parents/caregivers.

March is Numeracy Month

Count on some great fun during Numeracy Week at GVS, beginning on Monday, March 11th and culminating with middle year’s Math Olympics on Friday, March 15th. Activities to highlight and celebrate Math will be going on each day, multiplying the fun. Middle Years Learning Expo

On Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:00-6:30 pm, our Middle Years Students will be hosting the annual Learning Expo in the GVS gymnasium. This is a wonderful opportunity to have your child showcase some of their learning from term 2. Hanover School Division’s Numeracy Coach and Literacy Coach will be in attendance to provide activities that you and your child can do together.
