Good Morning Parents/Guardians and GVS Students,
We would like all of our school community to know that students have one last opportunity to pick up work packages, binders, learning materials and Chromebooks for grade 7 & 8 students. Please note that students can pick-up these materials until 4:00 pm today (Monday March 23rd)
A huge THANK YOU goes out to our entire school community for coming in on Friday and for being cooperative and patient as we disbursed all of the learning materials to our students.
As of today, school is no longer in session at GVS. We are doing all we can to stop the spread of germs and we are practicing physical distancing as best we can. We kindly ask parents to NOT escort their children into the school. Please let your child come in and pick up their belongings. If your child is sick, by all means, parents may come in and pick up materials for their child.
We want to wish our students, parents/guardians all the best as we begin our first official day of “Learning from Home.” We are all in this together. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members if you need any assistance during this time. Please also take note of the list and phone numbers of all of our local supports that may be able to help assist you or your child. This list can be found on our GVS website under LOCAL MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORTS.
