| Hot Dog Lunch 2026-10-02 | Hotdog lunch is today: $5 for a hotdog, drink and chips. $2 for single hotdogs. All funds raised will go to the GVS Ski Trip. *Grade 7 & 8 will have after O Canada to place their orders with their homeroom teachers. Gr 9-12 can secure their orders at the canteen on Friday morning. There will be extras to purchase during lunch hour. |
| High School Sports 2026-10-02 | High School Practice Varsity Boys Volleyball 4-6 @ SO High School Boys Soccer Practice 4-5:30 @ Tri-Star Field High School Games Good luck to our high school girls soccer team as they host SRSS tonight at Tri-Star Field. The girls are asked to meet at the field for 4:30. Intramurals The gym will be open for Volleyball and Basketball @ 12:30. |

| Gr 8 Immunizations 2026-10-01 | Grade 8 immunizations will take place on Wednesday, Oct 8th for those students who returned their forms. If you have a form to return, please do so ASAP |
| School Fundraiser 2026-10-01 | Chocolate Sales: October 1st-22nd Students will be carrying home cases of chocolates starting on Thursday, October 1st. As chocolates are sold, please send in money as soon as possible and in the largest denominations possible. Cheques may also be written to the school for the entire $100. Students selling at least one complete case of chocolates will be entered to win a variety of daily prizes and larger grand prizes at the end of the fundraiser. All money and product must be returned to the school no later than October 22nd. |
| Grad Meeting 2026-10-01 | IMPORTANT GRAD MEETING: Tuesday, October 6th starting at 12:30 in the library. Information about the upcoming chicken BBQ fundraising initiative will be discussed. There will also be a grad survey that ALL grads will be asked to do. FREE PIZZA and DRINKS will be provided. |
