| High School Sports 2026-09-14 | High School Volleyball Coaching Opportunities We are currently searching for JV Boys and Girls Volleyball coaches. In order to be able to run these teams we need to have coaches in place by Friday Sept. 18th. High School Cross Country Running Sign-ups for High School Cross Country running are up outside the gym office. Please sign-up if you plan on running in Zones Oct. 7th @ St. Malo. High School Practice Varsity Boys Volleyball tryout (open to grades 9-12) 4-6 @ SO High School Games Good luck to our High School Girls Soccer team as they host SRSS @ Tri-Star field tonight. Game time is 5:30. Intramurals The gym will be open for Volleyball and Basketball @ 12:30. Running Shoes must be worn and no food in the gym. |
| SY Ski Trip 2026-09-11 | All students who are interested in going on the ski/snowboard trip this winter should meet in Mr. Penner Woodworking shop on Monday, September 14th at 12:30. Priority will be given to students who attend the meeting. Spots are limited. There will be a hotdog lunch on Friday Sept 18th. $5 for a hotdog, drink and chips. $2 for single hotdogs. All funds raised will go to the GVS Ski Trip. |
| Changing Courses 2026-09-10 | Students in high school have until Friday, September 18th to change first semester courses. See Mr. G to get this done. Remember that students need parental permission to change courses. |
| Terry Fox Run 2026-09-10 | The Terry Fox Run will take place on September 18th. Our annual "Toonies for Terry" fundraiser is now on. 1 Toonie = 1 Ticket which will be entered in a draw for a new pair of running shoes. There will be 2 draws; 1 for Gr 7-9 and 1 for Gr 10-12. MY will collect in their homerooms. SY students can bring their donations to the office and they will be given a ticket. |
