| Changing Courses 2026-09-17 | Students in high school have until Friday, September 18th to change first semester courses. See Mr. G to get this done. Remember that students need parental permission to change courses. |
| DropZone 2026-09-17 | The DropZone will be closed today from 1:30pm til the end of the day. And will be closed all day Tuesday. |
| SY Ski Trip 2026-09-16 | There will be a hotdog lunch on Friday Sept 18th. $5 for a hotdog, drink and chips. $2 for single hotdogs. All funds raised will go to the GVS Ski Trip. *Grade 7 & 8 can pre-order their hotdogs with their homeroom teachers. Staff and high schoolers can secure their orders at the canteen on Friday morning. There will be extras to purchase during lunch hour. |
| Food Drive is coming 2026-09-16 | Hey GVS, our annual food drive is starting next week Tuesday, Sept 22nd. We have one week to collect food for our local food bank and those in need in our communities. Please start talking to your family and neighbours about donating non-perishable food items. Lists of most needed food items will be posted in each classroom later this week. Food items have points and we have a little healthy competition to see which grade can bring in the most food donation points. The food bank really depends on the food that we collect. Let's do this GVS!! If you are interested in helping with recording and collecting food donations in the mornings from 8:30-8:50 during the food drive (Sept 22-28), please contact Mrs. Maria Friesen. |
