Green Valley School and the Grunthal Caring Hands food bank would like to ask you to participate in this year’s food drive. Due to the unusual circumstances of the past 18 months, many more families are in need of the local food bank.
Bins will be stationed at all the entrances of GVS. Students can drop off donations of non-perishable food items as they are entering the school.
Non-perishable food items… most needed items are:
Tomato soup, other canned soup, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned tomatoes, pasta sauce, pasta, rice, pork & beans, ready to serve items such as chunky soup or Alphagetti/Zoodles, kraft dinner, boxed cereal, crackers, flour and sugar.
EXTRAS:
Shampoo & Conditioner, Laundry Detergent, Diapers, Feminine Hygiene products.
Grade level competition and draw prizes. (3+items=ballot) Donations will be picked up regularly.
Last day is Thursday, Oct. 21st.
