Pizza Friday is not going away, but it will look a bit different this year with two major changes taking place.
First off, students will no longer place their orders with their homeroom teachers but rather at the canteen as soon as they arrive at school.
Secondly, cash or cheques will no longer be accepted on Pizza Day. All students, both middle years and senior years, can purchase vouchers for pizza and milk in advance and students will use these vouchers when placing their pizza orders. Vouchers will be available through the Parent Portal or at the office from Monday – Thursday and can be paid for on the Parent Portal or by cheque. To purchase vouchers on the Parent Portal, simply add funds to your students account and email firstname.lastname@example.org stating the amount of vouchers you have paid for, or send a note along with your student. As long as there is a positive balance in your students account it could be used for pizza and milk vouchers. Pizza vouchers are $17.50 ($1.75/slice), and milk vouchers are $10.00 ($1.00 for a 250mL chocolate milk) and $15.00 ($1.50 for a 500mL chocolate milk).
