Jan. 4, 2022 – As announced by Manitoba Education , all schools in the province will shift to a one week (Jan. 10-14, 2022) remote learning period. As announced today, Manitoba public health officials have recommended an extension to the school winter break by two days. Students will resume classes on January 10, 2022. School staff will return on January 6, 2022, for professional learning and to prepare for the continuation of learning in January. View the provincial news release for more info…
Given the uninterrupted classes we have had this fall, we are going ahead with final assessments and exams for the first semester. These are going to be happening at the end of January and beginning of February. The full schedule is linked.

Due to the unusual circumstances of the past 18 months, many more families are in need of the local food bank. Bins will be stationed at all the entrances of GVS.
