GVS will be closed for the day due to smoke from a nearby fire – located across the street from the school. All students are safe. GVS students are being moved to South Oaks school. Parents asked to pick-up. GVS exams scheduled for today have been cancelled, and will not be rescheduled. South Oaks School will remain open.
The final assessments and exam schedule for the first semester is now available – Final Exam Schedule Jan 2019. Important provincials exam dates to keep in mind are: ELA 40S – Jan 8-11th Applied Math 40S – Jan 22th Pre-Cal Math 40S – Jan 24th.

The food drive is on! Our school is once again participating in the Farm Credit Canada Drive Away Hunger program by collecting donations of non- perishable food.
